Safety is for Everyone

The coronavirus is still rampant around us right now with 3.68 million cases in the Philippines alone. Everyone can be infected but the elderly, children, and teens are most vulnerable to this coronavirus. That's why we need to start a safe and proper vaccination for children and teens as soon as possible.

Why is a vaccination for children and teens important you ask? Well, it's simply because COVID-19 and its effects are just as common in children as it is in adults. But it has a greater impact on them. Children infected with COVID-19 may suffer major problems such as multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C), a disorder in which many bodily components, such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes, or gastrointestinal systems, become inflamed. More than 2,300 cases of MIS-C have been documented in children aged 5 to 11 years since the pandemic began. COVID-19 is more likely to cause serious sickness in children with underlying medical issues than in children without such disorders.

With vaccinations, all of this may be avoided. It could help countless children and teens around the globe avoid getting sick from COVID-19 and keep the community, especially the schools safe from the virus.
