Getting to Know a Dream-Big Student

Hey! Don’t worry, I don’t bite. It’s nice to meet you, I’m Carlo Arheid P. Guerzon, my second name’s pronounced as “Ar-hide”, don’t pronounce it as “Ar-hid” like most people, it haunted me the majority of my life! Haha! I live in the all-beautiful City of the Philippines in the province of Ilocos Sur, Vigan City. I’m also a 10th Grade Student of Ilocos Sur National High School. I believe in the saying “The bigger, the better!” that’s why my dreams are as big as they can be, and there isn’t anything that can stop me from achieving it. But wait! That’s just the tip of the iceberg, there is much more to find out about me. Come on, let’s go, let’s find out what is in the mind and what it’s like to be a dream-big student.

Personality-wise, I’m a fun and caring person to be friends with. I assure you there won’t be a moment where you weren’t smiling and I’m always here to be the shoulder you can cry on and tell your problems to. I’m the typical Asian-High School Student Stereotype but with a few twists, I’m always on the honor roll and my favorite subject is Science! There isn’t any science-related question that I can’t answer but only if it’s really easy! Haha! I’m into sports especially basketball and football, I’m also a player on our school’s football team. My dream job is to be a surgeon or anesthesiologist and I also want to start a business of my own. To be honest with you, I’m the type of person that’s somewhat power-hungry because I want to be the best I can be not only for myself but also for all the people around me. The definition of success for me is the sense of making a difference and giving back to the world. Life is short, then why not at least try to make a difference, right? My hunger for success isn’t stopping me from enjoying life though, I’m still a typical teenager that’s still figuring out life, that’s addicted to video games, and likes talking and flirting with girls Haha!

To sum everything up, if I have a goal, there’s nothing that’s going to stop me from achieving it. I’m your friend, if you’re looking for someone to have fun and relate with, I’m here! I try to make the most out of life because life is short, I wouldn’t want to waste the blessings that God gave me, as you should too. If I had any advice for you, I would say “Keep your eyes on the stars, but keep your feet on the ground”, you should always aspire for more but never forget who you are throughout your journey in life.
