A Great Start

What I can say about this quarter is that this quarter has been fun and engaging if I have to say so myself. Not going to lie, I wasn’t aware of the internet’s history because I wasn’t that interested in it. But I found out that I was missing out. I didn’t know that the history of the internet was this broad and interesting. In all honesty, learning how to make and post blogs has been fun. It’s like a breath of fresh air compared with the ICT of past grade levels. In all honesty, before I encountered this topic, I just thought that blogging was boring. I also assumed that it’s like the Facebook or Twitter of old people where they would post their old people experiences and stories. But I was proven wrong. I discovered that blogging was still very much alive today. I also happen to like reading other people’s blogs now.

In terms of the difficulties that I experienced, I didn’t encounter much.  The only difficulty that I experienced most of the time wasn’t the difficulty of learning the topic but it was the mechanic difficulties. The most common mechanic difficulties that I experienced was the encoding and formatting of my posts. Fixing the layouts and the themes of my blogs was frustrating because at first, it was complicated, some of the settings were stubborn, and I didn’t even know what some of the other settings do. I also struggled with the format of my posts. I couldn’t fix the spacing of my posts. I also couldn’t format the photos of my posts properly. Nonetheless, they were pretty much easy to solve once I took the time to learn and understand.

Moving on, I will make sure to use my new profound skills in blogging. Blogging helped me improve in writing, especially in my delivery and grammar. Blogging also helped me to socialize with other people more through interacting and commenting on other people’s blogs. Overall, blogging is a fun hobby to some or a stressful one to others but, blogging can help you improve your skills in writing which can help you in the real world that’s why I’m glad that we learned how to blog.
